Sundown roof cooling system for RVs
Your RV roof is not a generic white rectangle.
A live roof review, compatible restoration package, reflective finish and documented application—designed for the way your RV actually moves and lives.
Published behaviour
A thin roof hides nothing.
An RV roof is a small surface carrying a large share of the cabin's heat load, sitting directly above the living space with very little assembly between the two. That is why the surface number matters more here than on almost any other structure.
Published radiative split
Producer-published values. Match the stocked formula and batch before quoting a roof.
Published producer values, not a predicted cabin result
Why the kit price waits
The tape decides the gallons.
RV roof area is small enough that a generic size chart looks harmless and is not. Measured area, released coverage, wet-film target and material quantity determine the kit before a dollar is attached to it.

Fit before product
Five questions decide the system.

- Membrane identity: EPDM, TPO, fiberglass, metal and existing coatings do not share one preparation recipe.
- Water first: Soft decking, trapped moisture and active leaks stop the coating conversation until the assembly is sound.
- Movement profile: Full-time travel, seasonal movement and stationary living create different flex and maintenance conditions.
- Seam compatibility: The seam system must accept the selected finish. Incompatible silicone or legacy layers can close off future options.
- Film control: Gallons follow measured roof area and a released coverage specification—not a generic RV-size chart.
RV kit promises: Built for a roof that moves.. EPDM. TPO. Fiberglass. Metal.. Gallons follow the tape, not a chart.. A soft deck stops the job. We say so.
More than a pail
A system you can lay out on the roof.

The basic kit contains the specified Roof Coat, compatible sealant, exactly two rolling pads and the Sundown Application Guide. No roller assembly or pole is included.

Clear Coat is the same ceramic base without the white pigment. It is slightly cloudy on a bare surface, so it is specified only over our Roof Coat as the harder protective top build. It is not a clear polyurethane finish.
- Roof Coat bucket (5 gal, white)
- Optional ceramic Clear Coat bucket, used only over our Roof Coat
- Compatible sealant
- Two rolling pads
- Sundown Application Guide
Final contents are released only after the roof chemistry is identified. A universal seam product is intentionally not promised, and Clear Coat is an optional path rather than part of the basic kit. It is the ceramic base without white pigment, not a clear polyurethane, and is used only over our Roof Coat because it can look slightly cloudy on a bare surface.
Founding roof program
We need the first roofs to become the evidence.
Selected owners receive high-touch documentation and founding pricing in exchange for scheduled field measurements, honest follow-up and permission to publish the roof—not a scripted testimonial.
